Percabonate-Base Wood Cleaner
Wood Renew is a percarbonate-based wood cleaner that removes dirt, water stains, mold and mildew from bare wood. It also works as a wood lightener to reverse damage due to mild UV exposure. Use on new or existing construction to prepare wood for finishing.

LIFELINE Wood ReNew is a concentrated percarbonate-based wood cleaner and
brightener that forms hydrogen peroxide in solution. When mixed with water and
applied to wood it removes stains and discolorations due to dirt and mold. Wood
ReNew helps loosen UV damaged wood so that it can be removed with a pressure
washer.
Application Tips
- Wood ReNew works quicker in warm weather than in cool weather.
- Don’t try to apply Wood ReNew with a garden sprayer. It may stop up the
sprayer.
- Use pH Strips to make sure the surface is adequately rinsed.
Directions for Use
1. Mix four cups with 5 gallons of water and stir (if less than 5
gallons is required, mix 12 tablespoons of powder per gallon). Wait 10 minutes
to allow the solution to thicken.
2. Apply solution liberally to the surface with a mop, broom or brush. Clean
from the bottom up, rinse from the top down.
3. Allow solution to remain on the wood for 10 minutes. If it begins to dry out,
mist with a water hose.
4. If necessary, use a broom or stiff brush to help clean the surface.
5. Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer. We strongly recommend the use of pH
Strips to verify adequate rinsing. Heavily stained or discolored areas may need
a second application.
6. Rinse plants shrubs and grass after use.
7. On some types of wood the cleaned surface may become blotchy or dark. Use
OXcon Blonding Agent to lighten the color of the wood and even out the wall.
COVERAGE RATE: Four cups of Wood ReNew makes five gallons of
solution that will clean 700 to 800 square feet of wood surface area.
CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children. Powder is an eye
irritant.
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water
for 15 minutes. Seek medical aid.
Skin Contact: Remove from skin and wash thoroughly. Remove
contaminated clothing.
If Swallowed: Drink large amounts of water. Do not induce
vomiting. Seek medical aid if irritation develops.
